One question, worked through
A real-style question from this topic, with its full explanation. Take your time here; on the day you will have 15 seconds.
You are inside a speed zone of 50. On one street a C43 shows 30. After the next intersection, with no further sign, what limit applies?
The answer
A — The zonal 50 km/h applies again
Why
Art. 65.5.10: when a C43 inside a speed zone indicates another speed, the zonal speed applies again from the next intersection. (The Flemish and Brussels texts add that the zone board is not repeated; the Walloon text drops that sentence.)
Why not
- B The inner C43 has the ordinary reach: up to the next intersection. The zone takes over again there.
- C Only the zone board itself runs to the end of the zone; an inner C43 does not.
- D The zone board fixed the speed for the whole zone; the built-up default is set aside by it.

How this topic works in RoadReady
Every lesson in this topic is a short read built around the pictures the real questions use, and every practice question ends the same way as the one above: why the right answer is right, and why each other option is wrong. A mock exam draws on all of it, scored exactly like the real thing — 50 questions, 15 seconds each, five points for a heavy fault — and your readiness figure tells you honestly when this topic is done.
